The Yu-gi-oh Movie!
Summary and review by Matsuo
Yugioh the movie was released in theaters in North America sometime in August, and it has just been released in Japan on January 2, 2005. There's also an Yugioh the movie ani-manga available.
The movie takes place after the battle city finals between Yami Yugi and Yami Marik.Ever since then everyone wanted to duel Yugi for his egyptian god cards, and Seto Kaiba still hasn't given up on defeating Yugi's egyptian god cards either, so he duels Maximillion Pegasus for the cards that can defeat the egyptian god cards, wich was the Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, and he got another card called "The Pyramid of Light", but what Seto Kaiba and Yugi did not know, that when Yugi solved the millenium puzzle and released the ancient pharaoh that was locked within it, he also released, Anubis, who battled the ancient pharaoh long time ago, and lost, and is now back to get his revange.
MY OPINIONS ABOUT THE MOVIE: I thought it was pritty good, the new monsters, and the colors of the movie were very beautiful.

Hikari's Review: Overall the movie was o.k.(or at least in my opinion), though I didn't favour very much because of the exteremely farfetched storyline that made the whole movie look/sound like a fanfic. (I mean 8th millnnnium item? that's definitely something you see in tons of Yugioh fanfics, and was it just me, or did Kaiba seem 5x more cockier than usual? O.o). Mmm..but one thing I liked about the movie was the new monsters introduced(especially Shining Blue Eyes White Dragon). But overall it's o.k for a regular movie =P
