Millennium/Sennen Items
Back in ancient times, during the reign of Pharaoh Akunumkanon (whew, that's a long name ^^;;;), Egypt was being invaded by another country. To destroy the enemy Akunumkanon's brother Priest Akundin performed a ritual to create 7 maigcal items known as the millennium items. With these items equipped the Pharaoh and his 6 Priests elimated the enemy with ease. The 7 items were sealed away years later by Akunumkanon's son Atem, after the great battle between him and Zork Necrophidius.
In the entire series of Yugioh there are 7 millenium items.(no more no less.). in the Japanese series the millenium itmes are referred to as the "sennen" items. which translates into "thousand-year" itmes. But for most of us, we'll refer to them as the millenium items =P
Millennium/Sennen Puzzle

Description:: The mysterious millenium puzzle, a puzzle literally because it original came in puzzle pieces. It holds the spirit of the ancient Pharaoh of Egypt. This item was given to Yugi by his grandpa. When Yugi had solved the puzzle, it gave him an alter ego Yami Yugi. Some powers that it gives him are. He could use a power called the "mind crush", which destorys the evil part of a person. The "mind shuffle" which was used against pegasus to switch minds back and forth. And this is a power that is not really noticed, the person can make him/herself draw the card they want, this was used when Joey dueled against Mai as well as in many duels that Yugi is involved in.

Millennium/Sennen Ring

Description: For some reason the ring holds the spirit of a thief "named" Bakura. This item gives its owner the ability to see into a persons soul and point in the direction of other millenium items. It was given to Yugi after Battle City ended.

Description: This item allows a person to look into a persons mind and see their personality. This is one of the two items Shadi owns.
Millennium/Sennen Scale

Millennium/Sennen Rod

Description: This item allows its owner to control a persons mind, this is the basically the second most powerful millennium item compared to the millenium puzzle. In ancient times, it was used to control a person's ka and seal it into a stone tablet, it was also used to extract a person's ka(or ba).
